The eighth lecture of the Intellectual Property Boutique Course jointly launched by the Shenzhen International Arbitration Court and the Intellectual Property Research Center of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law is scheduled to be held on the evening of October 28, 2025. This course is specially invited to be taught by Professor Zhang Ping, with the theme of "Intellectual Property Rules and Legal Risks of Open Source Technologies". The course will focus on a detailed analysis of intellectual property under the open innovation model, the open source characteristics of artificial intelligence models, the legal effectiveness and long arm jurisdiction of open source licenses, and the legal risks of open source technologies. It will explore the core role and potential conflicts of open source technologies in intellectual property rules in the AI era.
